Pillars give support and strength. They are what everything else rests on. The four questions asked here represent the four key pillars of the life of our church: COME, GROW, GLOW, and GO. These pillars remind us what we as a church need to be all about. The first pillar, COME, reminds us that we need to be a welcoming church. A church who is looking for ways to welcome our surrounding community into God’s community. The second pillar, GROW, reminds us to dig deeper into God’s word, to look for opportunities to teach and be taught the very life changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. GLOW is a word picture, showing us as we grow closer to the Lord, we should also grow closer to one another, into a true community of believers “glowing” with the presence of the Holy Spirit, in all we do, living a lifestyle of worship to our King. Finally, GO should push us, as a church, to keep moving beyond the four walls of our church and to live outside of our comfort zone, willing to do and be whatever God calls us to.

The 4 Pillars is offered bi-monthly. Anyone interested in serving in any capacity at Mountain View is encouraged to take this class to get a better understanding of the church and its methodology. The class meets in the Kidz Alive! Center, and childcare is provided.
